Painstakingly carved for Halloween 2007. This is my second attempt at carving a pumpkin that has three shades of color, and I believe that it is my best pumpkin to date.

Is it really a carved pumpkin? It seems a painting on a canvass; great job (and Happy Halloween)!

Thanks! I tried to get a picture of the pumpkin while it was unlit, but the lighting is not good inside. I am going to take it outside and snap a better picture of it.

The accumulated filth of all their sex and murder will foam up about their waists and all the whores and politicians will look up and shout "Save us!" and I'll look down and whisper "No."
Its still bloody awesome! Ive only ever carved one. It turned out ok, but its nowhere near as elaborate as that... It was an image of Holi's sons teddy bear that he loves. I will put the pic up on my DA. Hopefully when I am in the US I can do pumpkins every year. They arent that popular in the UK.

Your pumpkins create insanity.
Your pumpkins should do well in that cool climate. The only downside to doing pumpkins in the South is that the weather isn't very friendly. Heat and insects are the pumpkin's mortal enemies. I try to keep it indoors during the day in an icebox or refrigerator.
